Physics of living systems
Research in biophysics investigates electrodynamic interactions between proteins in aqueous environments using THz spectroscopy techniques to study internal couplings within biomolecules, supported by the European FET-OPEN project LINKS.
Agro-environmental research, conducted in collaboration with CIRAD, focuses on developing THz-based tools to analyze molecular vibrations in plants and their responses to environmental stress. Silicon THz sensors, specifically designed for these studies and funded by the PEPR Électronique and CPER Plantenvie programs, are currently being developed.
