Innovative Materials

The HYBR team conducts synthesis, shaping, characterization, and modeling of materials for both applied and fundamental research. Historically focused on silicate and phosphate-based glass materials, the team has developed expertise over the past 30 years in hybrid organic-inorganic nanocomposite materials. These can be produced in various forms: bulk, powders, fibers, coatings—dense or ultraporous microstructures.

Les procédés impliqués dans la fabrication de ces différents matériaux sont la fusion, la chimie douce (sol-gel) et la polymérisation ou dépolymérisation sous UV ou visible.

Processes used:

  • Melting
  • Soft chemistry (sol-gel)
  • UV/visible polymerization or depolymerization
