Optical platform

For optical characterization, we have spectroscopy setups equipped with several optical cryostats, enabling measurements from 2 K to 300 K. Photoluminescence, reflectivity, and transmission measurements are tailored for the study of wide-bandgap materials such as silicon carbide (4H or 6H), nitrides, and zinc oxide. Our platform supports measurements in the UV and visible range (300 nm–1000 nm) and has recently been extended into the near-infrared (2mm). A data acquisition and processing system for PL mapping has been developed, offering a resolution of 25mm.
