The « BioNanoNMRI » team is developing new strategies in MRI and NMR on a number of topics where non invasive techniques are needed, specially for in vivo studies. We focus on MRI/NMR instrumentation, methods, analysis and modelization to determine optimum contrasts in healthy and pathological human or animals tissues.

In neuroscience, our group is developing imaging techniques for spinal cord injury (MMDN and Association Verticale) based on diffusion-weighted MRI and for early detection of tinnitus (CLCARE) we are exploring MEMRI and 23Na MRI capabilities.

In Agronomy, we contribute to the understanding of plant functioning, by investigating water and sugar transports in various species under biotic or abiotic stresses (APLIM : CIRAD, INRA, IRD).

Our work is going from the design and construction of MRI/NMR probes (patent WO2017194631A1), development of innovant pulses sequences to measure water fluxes and fine processing of the signal to determine biological markers.
