In our domain, applications are based on fundamental physics phenomena involved in nanoscopic systems.

To understand precisely the quantum effect in NanoFET, it is necessary to measure all electrical variables with a good precision, using low noise techniques.

Our experimental research group develops metrological set-up measurement sensitive enough to extract quantum signature of these systems. For example, we are using it in Spin Hall Effect transport measurements as predicted by Professor Dyakonov.

Our second objective, concerns metrological problematic linked with our scientific interest, in collaboration with the Laboratoire National d’Essai (LNE) as Ohm metrological representation in AC current or in link to the spintronic and nano-magnetic material development which need absolute magnetic measurements.

For this latter up to now all magnetic measurements are still relative. In their ANR contract, LNE develops nano-Hall Cross design to perform absolute magnetic measurement. In collaboration with LNE and LPN, and following our previous results obtained in ANR NanoHall, we will characterize and develop this kind of magnetic nano-probe which can be used for example in MFM system.
